The lion (Panthera leo) is one of the four big cats in the genus Panthera and a member of the family Felidae. There will be cuddly fun all day with this sweet little lion.
Like most cats, lions have a reflective layer behind the retina that gives them noticeably better vision than humans at dusk and at night. A lion's contact call carries up to eight kilometres in calm weather and mainly helps distant pride members keep in touch.
