The Folkmanis Hand Puppet population welcomes grey bunny to the family. This cuddle bunny features buttery soft skin, a sweet face and velvety ears that come alive with movable mouth and all four legs.
The grey-brown of wild rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) is not a single colour. Each guard hair is banded, dark at the tip and lighter below. Together they produce a mottled, broken pattern that blurs the animal's outline, while the nape shows a rusty brown. They moult twice a year, growing a denser coat for winter and a thinner one in spring. Back and belly stay clearly different throughout: dark above, almost white underneath.
Did you know that grey bunnies, like many of their kin, have excellent senses that help them stay safe from predators? Their large ears allow them to hear even the slightest sounds, and their quick reflexes help them react instantly when danger is near.
