Mattis enjoys school and likes the breakfast break best — which produces scenes all by itself: who sits next to whom, who forgot their sandwich, who does not dare to speak up? His clothing comes off completely, which helps both with dressing practice for the youngest and with switching him into another role.
The mouth works on the fold-open principle. The hand opening sits at the back of the head, and through the arms you also reach into the puppet's hands, so Mattis can point, wave and hold things. The opening is cut so that children and adults alike can guide the puppet securely.
