A princess, a pirate and a very hungry crocodile: Punch and Judy stories on CD, part 3 by Sterntaler takes Punch down to the water and into adventures about gold, magic herbs and a dragon that strays from the path. Eight stories, each one listing the figures the stage will need.

Please note: every story on this CD is spoken in German. This is a German-language production without an English soundtrack. It suits German-speaking households, bilingual families and anyone using the disc for German lessons or language practice.

Because the cast comes with the story, a piece can be acted out with no preparation: listen once, lay out the puppets, begin. Teachers use the scenes as a first step for children standing behind the stage for the first time – the plot is already familiar, and their own version may still end differently.

What the lists name are the protagonists, not specific articles – the casting is yours. A pirate is played convincingly by a robber figure, for instance, and hand puppets from other brands fit the parts just as well. The stories are what counts.
