Turquoise, red and white in broad stripes, with a round face and a blue nose: Hope by The Puppet Company is the friendliest figure in the sock collection and manages without teeth, horns or a grimace. For work with younger children that is an advantage - Hope reads as inviting rather than exciting and suits greeting rituals, first dialogues and quiet conversations. In language work the sock puppet takes the part of the listener you can tell something to without being tested. This hand puppet is part of The Puppet Company monster collection.
Hope is pulled over the forearm and worked on the fold-open principle. A squeaker sits in the tongue. Hope is knitted.
Hope was created in collaboration with a British charity.
