Living Puppets Mini Quatschköppe Christmas Tree Decorations – Set of 6 Plush Baubles

This Living Puppets Mini Quatschköppe Christmas tree decorations set contains five red Mini Quatschköppe called ‘Trienchen’ and one colourful Mini Quatschkopp called ‘Rainbow’. The little fluffballs look great on the Christmas tree and are just as eye-catching on a key ring or as the pom-pom on a bobble hat. You can also play with them or even juggle them. The set is a limited edition from Living Puppets.

The Quatschköppe can take the place of traditional Christmas baubles on your tree or sit alongside the ones you already have. The five Trienchen bring classic Christmas red to the green branches, while Rainbow adds a splash of colour with its multicoloured fur. Each figure has a small loop on top of its head, so you can hang it from a branch. Once the festive season is over, the fluffballs can find new homes on key rings and winter hats.

Did you know that the Christmas bauble had edible forerunners? Before the 19th century, people mainly hung apples, nuts, baked treats and sweets on their Christmas trees. Because of all the sugary decorations, some German regions called the tree a ‘Zuckerbaum’, or sugar tree. According to legend, a glassblower from Lauscha in Thuringia could not afford apples and walnuts for his tree in 1847. So he came up with the idea of blowing coloured glass baubles instead.
