Kangaroo Hand Puppet - Hansa Creation

In puppet play, the kangaroo Hand Puppet by Hansa Creation can quickly become part of small stories. It is well suited to storytelling, puppet theatre and imaginative role play. New ideas often develop naturally during play.

The baby kangaroo, also called a “joey”, is attached to the mother kangaroo’s belly with an elastic band and can hide inside it.

The kangaroo (Macropodidae) is native to Australia and the most recognisable marsupial worldwide. With powerful hind legs, it can leap up to 13 metres and reach speeds of 55 km/h. Females carry their young in a pouch for months. Kangaroos are herbivores living in groups known as mobs.

Did you know that kangaroos cannot walk backwards? This is precisely why the kangaroo shares Australia's coat of arms with the emu — both animals symbolise progress because they only move forward.
